The Shell Game
One of the best classic show of all time I think is The Shell Game, 千王之王 in Chinese. This show can be watched in videos form previously (now CDs) and was broadcasted over a period from 15 September 1980 to 17 October 1980. There was a total of 25 episodes for the show. The theme song for this show was Using Love to Steal a Heart (用爱将心偷), sung by Liza Wang. The main actor in the show was Patrick Tse. He was the best gamblers of all time.
In 1980, I was in Primary Three, 9 years old only. During those days, we would follow what the actors in the TV did, and played various tricks with the poker cards.
In the above photographs, these are two of my favorite shows of gambling -- Shell Game I & II.

These are just some of Patrick Tse's young time photographs. My brother and I would play poker cards together because of the influence of this show. We would tend to act like the character in the show when playing childhood games like that. The card games that my brother and I played were so varied -- besides poker, there were common one like blackjack and various card games of our own.
Nowadays people are hardly meeting up. They interact with their computer more than any other things. They play online poker, they chat on the internet with friends, they also do their work with their computer.
Look at the above photograph of the casino. People are playing poker on the big table. How exciting it is to be able to play together with your friends on the big table. But look at the surrounding atmosphere. It is smoky due to the smokes that the men were smoking. How exciting to think that online poker tournament like that can be done in this way. Regardless of where you are now, as long as you want to play poker, just follow poker rules and you can be interacting with your friends online (meaning you would not be alone). Hear your friends, see your friends (if both of you have webcams), and the thought of this really make me so excited about playing poker games now online! Everyone wish to win, wish to be the gambling king or queen. Try it out!
